Honey, Ginger, Garlic Salmon

December 10, 2019 by The Head Chef

I normally do not like fish. I absolutely despise that fishy taste. The only time I will eat fish is if there is none of that fishy taste. So, I know which fish I can eat and which ones I need to avoid. Salmon is a toss up. It really depends how it is prepared whether or not I will eat it.

Growing up my mother would make her ginger garlic salmon with teriyaki sauce. It really tasted so good. However, making this dish at home, I try to refrain from purchasing condiments with so many listed ingredients. Therefore I use honey for that needed sweetness.

You can absolutely replace the honey with something that is vegan friendly or keto friendly. As much as I am on board with sugar free and keto/diabetic friendly cooking, I sometimes tend to gravitate more towards the natural ingredients. I really hope you enjoy this recipe as this recipe is on constant rotation in my home.
